In an instant. This phrase brings to mind the reality of how fast one’s life can change. The A.L.E.R.T. helicopter is lifting off with a driver injured in an accident in which he quickly crossed over the center line and struck a much larger, oncoming truck and trailer. He then careened into another big truck, also pulling a trailer.

This accident could have been so much worse, with the difference being literally inches. I was honored to assist the two struck drivers as well as emergency responders. Six agencies provided their skilled services (including dispatch) along with three tow truck companies and Braveheart Chaplain Ministry. Thankfully, those few extra inches were there today, a gift from the Lord!
